Spot-checks and process inventories at quay-side trough Fidelio Cruise’s MMSMobile - Tuesday, April 22, 2008

Fidelio Cruise’s Materials Management System (MMS) will have its functionality significantly enhanced with the introduction of hand-held mobile inventory control devices.

 

The new MMSMobile units, which will operate remotely on the quay side, in main stores and at points of consumption on board, will improve the flexibility and efficiency of stock control and inventory management.

Fleet-wide adoption of FC’s Fleet Management System nears completion at Holland America Line - Tuesday, May 06, 2008

The implementation of Fidelio Cruise’s Fleet Management System (FMS) across Holland America Line’s 13-ship cruise fleet is now almost complete. Only two vessels, Maasdam and Volendam, remain and their conversions to Fidelio’s Shipboard Property Management System (SPMS) inclusive of FMS will finish by the end of May.

Fred. Olsen’s, Balmoral set sail on her inaugural cruise mid February, after having completed a lengthening and major refit. Balmoral carries a full range of Fidelio Cruise software on board. She has been installed with the company’s core Ship’s Property Management System for complete passenger, crew and visitor handling as well as on-board financial operations and the latest point-of-sale terminals from Micros which are interfaced with the SPMS and Materials Management systems.

Fidelio Cruise’s off-line check-in functionality eliminates the risk of embarkation delays - Tuesday, January 22, 2008

Refinements to Fidelio Cruise’s Check-in Module now guarantee that fast and effective passenger handling can continue during embarkation even if the computer connection between ship and shore is lost for some reason. This off-line functionality enables check-in personnel to continue the embarkation process uninterrupted and without having to resort to time-consuming manual procedures risking the possible loss of data.
